19th century octagonal, cushioned Venetian mirror with layered glass frame. The outer band of the frame is decorated with alternating long and short scallop cuts and the inner section of the frame has small scallop cut edges. The central part of the frame is simply bevelled and each section is linked with glass leaf shaped pieces secured to the mirror with silver metal screws fitted with little diamond cut pieces of glass. The original bevelled central glass has some age but gives an excellent reflection.
