Late 19th/early 20th century Venetian mirror from the Italian Alps with an unusual ebonised wooden border and raised design along the outside edge. The frame is etched with a foliate and floral pattern and elegant glass leaves secure each corner. The original, bevelled, central mercury glass is in excellent condition and sparkles along the bottom edge. There is just a little age in the frame, mainly in the bottom section. This mirror can be hung portrait, as photographed, or landscape.
