Late 19th/early 20th century Venetian mirror with rectangular, burnt umber coloured frame with outset corners and is divided into four sections. Each section is overlaid with an Art Nouveau enamelled decoration of delicate flowers and leaves as well as curling stems in pale blue, red and pearl white with gilt detailing. The mirror is topped with a silvered acanthus leaf style cartouche which has a central burnt umber oval decorated with crossed torcheres and ribbons. The inner section of the frame has a silvered row of "bubbles" and each section is secured with a silvered glass leaf. The original, central glass has a little light age which gives an excellent reflection.
