Unusually wide, 19th century, arched top Venetian mirror with etched frame decorated with flower and leaf design, scallop cut outer edges and dainty scallop cut inner edge. The glass leaf-shaped pieces covering the upper corners have a simple cut fanned design and a curved inner edge to follow the shape of the mirror while the glass leaves over the lower corners are decorated with a central cut star. There is some age in the frame but the central glass has very little age and gives a good, clear reflection. Due to its width, this mirror would make an excellent overmantel.
