19th century French archtop mirror with wide, outcurving frame, beautifully etched with a maple leaf and stem design and an acanthus leaf etched at each lower corner. The outside edge of the frame has a repeating half oval decoration and the sight edge (edge closest to the glass) has an intricate acanthus leaf design. This mirror has a later mirror plate which gives an excellent reflection and would make a very attractive, classic overmantel.
