Late 19th century Italian mirror with outset corners and partly etched, partly punched design around the frame. Beautifully etched elongated curling leaves decorate the wide corners and a punched design of leaves and stems run down the narrow sections of the frame. The original, bevelled glass has a little age in the form of a few dark spots but gives an excellent reflection. This statement mirror can be hung portrait, as photographed, or landscape.
