Tall, narrow, mid-19th century French panel mirror with gilt reeded frame. Where the gilding has thinned through years of dusting, the terracotta and cream layers beneath are gently showing through giving this mirror a very attractive colour and patination. The original glass has a little age but gives an excellent reflection and this mirror would make a useful "entre deux" (between two tall windows) mirror as well as a full-length mirror.
