Late 19th century gilt cushioned French mirror with narrow watergilt outer frame and beaded inner frame. The mirror is decorated at each corner with acanthus leaves and flowers and a delicate, curling acanthus leaf cartouche runs along the top. All the original glass is bevelled in each section and the mirror is in lovely, original condition throughout. The central mirror is stamped on the reverse G K 79 5. This lovely, delicate mirror would make an attractive overmantel as well as working over a piece of furniture and the angled, mirrored, sides reflect different aspects of the room.
