Late 19th century decorative French oval mirror with layered frame decorated with a raised central panel of a classic egg and dart pattern set between burnished gilt bands and with a beaded sight edge (edge closest to the glass). The mirror has a decorative floral and foliate cartouche with pierced scrolling acanthus leaves along the top edge and a neat, acanthus leaf cartouche at the base. The original bevelled glass has just a little, very light, age and gives an excellent reflection.
