19th century French margin mirror, circa 1880, with narrow, giltwood frames decorated with delicate acanthus leaves and ribbon-twist geometric designs. At each corner there is a delicate ormolu (gilt metal) decoration of a central pineapple flanked with curling acanthus leaves. The original glass is in very good condition with just a little light age and this near-square mirror would work well as an overmantel mirror.
