19th century French archtop mirror with banded etched gilt frame which is an unusual colour because, instead of the terracotta bole beneath the gold leaf, this mirror has a dark grey bole. The high cartouche is decorated with a pair of birds, flowers and leaves as well as the crossed torchere and quiver of arrows. The original glass has just a little age and this mirror would make a stunning overmantel where there is plenty of height available. The manufacturer's stamp in on the reverse "Le Feuvre Freres, Paris".
