Antique French brass framed, violin-shaped, gentleman's shaving mirror, circa 1920s with beautifully bevelled glass. The top of the mirror is in three deep curves and the base in two. The mirror is held inside a second brass frame beneath the lower half by two domed knobs to allow the angle of tilt to be changed and is supported on a tall, barleytwist stem with a rectanglar stepped base. The mirror is very heavy and very stable. Although the mirror plate has some light age, it still gives a good reflection.
