Late 19th century French archtop mirror, circa 1890, with silverleafed frame decorated with an outcurving etched panel of alternating burnished and matt silverleaf bands. After more than 100 years of dusting, the black bole beneath the silverleaf is just starting to show through giving the mirror frame a pleasing patina. The original glass is in very good condition with just a little light age and gives an excellent reflection.
