French Bistro mirror, circa 1920s, with narrow, silverleafed outcurving frame. Where the silver leaf has worn, as a result of more than 100 years of cleaning, the black layer of bole beneath the silver is showing through giving the mirror an interesting black and silver patination. The original glass has a little age but gives an excellent reflection and this mirror can be hung portrait, as photographed, or landscape.
