Early 20th century French Bistro mirror with outcurving, burnished, silverleafed frame and original glass with light age. Through many years of dusting, the silverleaf has thinned a little allowing the black bole beneath to show through giving the mirror frame a pleasing, birchbark look. The silverleafing is continued around the outside edge of the frame, so the mirror has a silver side edge. This versatile mirror can be hung portrait, as photographed, or landscape.
