Dimensions:
Small 18th century French mirror, circa 1790, with carved wood frame decorated with a row of overlapping half leaves, a row of beading and square corners with central rosettes. Originally silverleafed, this has mostly worn over the centuries leaving the umber coloured bole beneath. The original, mercury glass has a great deal of age and foxing. Once part of a panelled wall, this mirror would not have had a back, which has been added later.
