Small, mid-19th century Italian mirror with outset corners and silverleafed frame. Where the silverleaf has thinned over many years of dusting, the dark red bole is showing through the silver, giving this mirror a very warm appearance. The frame is decorated at the corners with a punched design of vine leaves and tendrils and a diamond design runs along the narrower sections. The original glass has a little age but gives a clear reflection.
