Antique French mirror with narrow gilt frame and leaf corners

Late 19th century French miror with narrow, outcurving, burnished gilt frame decorated with a row of delicate beading around the sight edge (edge closest to the glass). Each corner of the mirror is decorated with an acanthus leaf set within a curled leaf border. The original mirror plate has a wide bevel which curves at each corner and there is a little light age in the glass but it still gives an excellent reflection. This mirror can be hung portrait (as photographed) or landscape.
