Large antique French curved top mirror with key pattern design

Large mid-19th century French mirror with gently curving top. The gilt frame has a central outcurving band decorated with an etched key pattern and a beaded sight edge (edge closest to the glass).  At each lower corner the etched design changes to a fanned acanthus leaf. After more than a century of dusting, the gilding has thinned a little in places giving hints of the terracotta bole beneath and producing an attractive patina. The original mercury glass is in very good condition with just a little, very light, age and gives an excellent reflection.
