Pair of late 19th century French oval mirrors with narrow, curved, watergilt frames; the gilding continuing around the outside edge so these mirrors look just as good from the side. The mirror plates are mercury glass with just a little age but give an excellent reflection. The label on the back of one of the mirrors suggests that they were originally purchased in Toulouse from a shop specialising in old maps and stamps amongst other items.
