Narrow mid 19th century French Trumeau mirror with partly gilt and partly French grey painted frame. The upper part of the mirror has a burnished gilt top edge and, inset into the painted panel, a raised ropetwist pattern surrounds a central female face which is decorated with flowers and acanthus leaves. The lower part of the mirror has a worn gilt, partly burnished, partly raised flower and leaf decorated frame which has a sparkling mercury glass plate which is in very good condition.
