19th century French serpentine topped mirror with gilt frame decorated with etched criss-cross design with central, simplified, flower and beaded sight edge (edge closest to the glass). Where the mirror has been cleaned for many years, the gold leaf has thinned allowing the terracotta bole to show through, giving the mirror a warm appearance. The original glass is in very good condition.
