Vintage wych elm Deco style desk

Vintage, Art Deco style, wych elm desk, circa 1950s, with two columns of four small drawers and one central desk drawer. The pattern in the wood has been matched on the sides of the desk and is in lovely conditon although the top has moderate wear. A clever locking device only allows the smaller drawers to open once the central drawer has been opened. Each of the smaller drawers has a little ivory coloured handle.  A beautifully made and useful French desk.
