19th century octagonal Venetian mirror

Mid 19th century octagonal, cushioned, mercury glass Venetian mirror with layered glass frame with central, very delicately etched, panel of flowers and leaves. Each join of the frame is secured with a glass flower or leaf which is held in place with a diamond cut glass-topped screw and the mirror is completed with an open, scrolling cartouche of acanthus leaves. There is some age throughout the mirror including silvering losses on some of the joining pieces but the central, bevelled glass gives an excellent reflection.
