18th century silver leafed Italian mirror

Delightful little 18th century Italian mirror with carved wood frame finished in silver leaf. The high cartouche consists of a central shell adorned with flowers and curling acanthus leaves which flow down each upper corner of the mirror. A smaller shell decorates the base and both lower corners have little supporting leaf shaped feet. The original glass has very slight bevelling and light age but still gives a fair reflection.
