Vintage gilt oval mirror with beaded edge

Very simply elegant early 20th century French oval mirror. Where the frame has been dusted for many years, the gilding has worn thin revealing a lovely, burnished, dark terracotta bole beneath the gold leaf, giving the mirror a warm colour.  Delicate beading around the sight edge (edge closest to the glass) adds a little decoration to the frame and the later bevelled glass is in very good condition and gives an excellent reflection.
