Large gilt decorative antique oval mirror

Large 19th century gilt French oval mirror with an outcurving frame decorated with a central band of diagonal, smooth, ropetwist and beaded design, an incurving watergilt band and beaded sight edge (edge closest to the glass). The mirror has upper and lower cartouches with curling acanthus leaves and, at the top, swags of leaves and flowers. The original, bevelled glass is in excellent condition with very light age and gives an very good reflection.
