Antique French gilt cushioned mirror with circlet cartouche

19th century French gilt cushioned mirror with the outer frame decorated with a half ovals within raised arched borders with little acanthus leaf motifs between the arches and a beaded inner frame. An acanthus leaf decorates each outer corner and the two frames are linked with opposing acanthus leaf style decorations within heart shaped borders. The mirror has a cartouche of laurel leaves with a central circlet of flowers and ribbon bow. All the original glass is bevelled and there are some brush strokes of age in the central glass and a little more around the outer glass borders, mainly along the base.
