19th century oval Venetian mirror with bow

Charming little mercury glass oval Venetian mirror with scallop cut frame decorated with very delicate etching of flowers and leaves. At each join the frame is secured with a leaf shaped glass piece secured with little diamond-cut glass topped screws. The mirror is topped with a bow cartouche and the central glass is bevelled and in very good condition. The shaped wooden back indicates that this mirror was once used as a table top mirror. Circa 1840.
