Antique French silver ripple framed mirror

Very handsome antique French mirror, circa 1840, with wide, burnished, silverleafed rippled frame with cream basketweave inner edge. The original, mercury glass has a little age in the form of a few, small, horizontal lines but sparkles throughout and gives an excellent reflection. This mirror would make an excellent full-length dressing mirror hung vertically, or could hang horizontally over a wide piece of furniture.
