Large antique carved wood margin mirror

This very unusual 19th century French margin mirror has delicate, carved, fruitwood frames decorated with acanthus leaves at each corner and lozenge, beading and little banded designs around the outer and inner frames, which slope outwards from the centre of the mirror. The original glass has medium age but the central, mercury glass is in good condition and gives an excellent reflection.  This mirror can be hung portrait, as photographed, or landscape.
