Large, early 19th century French pier mirror with wide, gilt, reeded frame and raised square corners, decorated with a circlet of flowers and leaves. Where the frame has been dusted for over 200 years, the gilding has thinned revealing the terracotta bole beneath. The original mercury glass is divided into two sections, both with medium foxing and sparkles.
