Antique French archtop mirror, circa 1840, with outcurving, burnished, watergilt frame and decorative bow cartouche. Where the mirror has been dusted for nearly 200 years, the gilding has thinned, revealing the terracotta bole beneath. The original, mercury glass is in excellent condition with just a little age near the top.
