Decorative antique French margin mirror

Very unusual mid-19th century French margin mirror with outset corners, egg, dart and beaded outer frame and raised gilt inner frame with delicately beaded edge. It is the corner design which makes this mirror special with a diagonal cross of flowers, buds and leaves overlying triangular sections of bevelled glass and the mirror is topped with a shell, flower and foliate cartouche.  All the glass is original, mercury glass with some areas of oxidization in the frame sections and a few small areas in the central glass but it sparkles beautifully and gives an excellent reflection.
