Vintage Venetian style mirror with oval and daisy design

French made Venetian style mirror, circa 1940s, with bevelled glass frame decorated with alternating oval and daisy design. Each corner of the mirror has a bevelled square piece with central daisy which is beautifully dovetailed into the frame and secured with a flat, silver metal, rimmed stud. The mirror is surrounded with a dark brown narrow wooden border which protects the outside edges.  Although there is a little age throughout the mirror, the central glass gives an excellent reflection and it can be hung portrait, as photographed, or landscape.
