Antique Venetian curvy tabletop mirror with cartouche

Mid-19th century curvy Venetian table-top mirror with delicately floral and foliate etched and scallop cut frame, held in place with little glass leaf-shaped pieces. The mirror has an acanthus leaf cartouche and all the glass pieces are secured with little diamond-cut glass-topped screws. The original, bevelled glass follows the shape of the frame and although there is a little age throughout the mirror, mostly in the frame, it still gives a very good reflection. A dark wood border protects the outer edges of the mirror and a shaped wooden back with sliding support allows adjustment when the mirror is standing.
