Antique French giltwood rococo mirror

This little 19th century French giltwood mirror, circa 1880, carved in the rococo style with curling acanthus leaves and flowers and a high crest, has exceptionally beautifully bevelled glass which follows every detail of the shape of the frame, sometimes adding some extra decoration - as you can see mid-way down each side of the mirror where little curves have been added. The gilding and glass are in very good condition and this mirror gives an excellent reflection.
